The 1st International Symposium on Air Lubrication Technologies was organized in Trondheim, Norway from 16-17th June 2025, by SINTEF Ocean and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). David Hitchmough from LJMU had the pleasure of attending the Symposium and made a presentation which was titled “‘Investigation of air ingress from a passive air Lubrication system on ship propeller propulsive characteristics”. This was a presentation of the work that was carried out as part of the RETROFIT55 project.
